Review : Clinique 3-Step

Hey addicts!! I probably need to stop calling ya'll that....lol! Anyway, I just wanted to share a lil something with you guys on what I use to keep this skin of mine looking halfway healthy...lol I know you all heard or seen folks using the Clinique 3-Step skincare process by now and heard both negative and positive reviews. Well, I'm sorry to say, I have nothing negative to say about this product. I've been using this for about a month now and I've seen my face change dramatcally. Before I started using this I was having breakouts like crazy and afterwards virtually NO breakouts. I mean I've got a pimple or 2 now but that's b/c of stress thanks to school....lol. I have a paper and power point presentation due in like 3 or 4 weeks so I'm kinda freakin out right now.

Anyway....just an FYI, these can be conformed to your skin "type". I'm a type 2 so I am of a "dry combination" skin. mean I have some dry spots but my t-zone is of course SHINY meaning it's a tad bit oily. You can check out the website and answer a few questions about you and your skin type and at the end it'll tell you what skin type you are. Too confused to do that and want to talk to a rep directly? OK, go to your local department store (Macy's, Nordstroms, Dillard's, etc.) and speak with someone at the actual Clinique counter and they'll help you out. Better yet, hit up Ms. Buttahfly and ask her what's she thinks. She's a rep for Clinique now so she's the best person to ask if you want to talk to someone but not go to a counter. She's very nice and would love to help if she can. Hope this helps!!!

Review: M.A.C. Dazzle Lash

I just wanted to share this review on the new....well new to me, I don't know if it's a re-promo or not, mascara M.A.C. just released. It's M.A.C.'s Dazzle Lash and I freakin LOVE this stuff!!! Here's What M.A.C. describes this great product:

Ok, lemme break it down to ya. Like I said, I LOVE this stuff. I only used it once so far and I truly love the results I got from it. I have a couple of pics to show you.....


Ok, now these pics were taken after I used the mascara and can you see how EACH lash if defined? My lashes, in MY opinion never looked this full. Sure I have lash blast, colossal lashes, and even the lil trial version of Clinique's mascara and I love all of them. HOWEVER, this lil bottle of mascara have purchased and permanately earned a place in my makeup traincase and in my heart.....lol.I'm so glad I bought this as a "what the hell? why not" vibe...LMAO!!!

I'm Still Alive!!!

What's good everyone?? I know I haven't blogged in a few weeks, but as we all know, life can throw you a few curve balls. Anyway I don't have pics at the moment, but i did pick a several things at my favorite mac counter since I last blogged. I picked up 2 more Electroflash eyeshadow duos. I think when I blogged last it was Sea and Sky and Two to Glow I told you guys about......*thinking*......yeah it was, lol. Well, since then I picked up Pink Split and Play on Plums. I'm still due back to get Odd Couple which is callin me right about now, lol. I absolutely LOVE "Pink Split"!!!!!!! It's so pretty. When applied, it's like a pinky-lavender color and the darker side comes out just a dark shimmery lavender color. it's really cute! The "Play on Plums" Duo I haven't had a chance to mess with really just yet. I mean, it's a pretty duo, I just haven't had the urge to play in it. I've been so busy with getting 2 of my lil ones ready for school it's just been a non option for me. Besides, I really don't wear those partcular shades that often or anything that will compliment it well.

M.A.C. Haul!!!

Hey folks, what's up? I wanted to show you guys my haul I got over the weekend. I did pretty good, I didn't spend $150 like I thought I was gonna do, lol. I initially went in for just 1 thing..... a blush

But.....me being the person I am, I came out with a eyeshadow too, lol. I forgot M.A.C. had a new line out until I was checking it out online at work and I was like oooohhh pretty. So let me show you the pics from friday's mini haul.

Here's one of the shadows and the swatch I did to show how it looks. It's called Sea and Sky from the Electroflash Collection. Ain't it pretty, lol.





Here's the blush I bought, it's called Fluer Power. It's a nice blush to start off with if a person is just getting into M.A.C., well I think it is. It's a pinky-sheer color and compliments a lot of eyeshadows well. So far, I'm pleased with it.



The next shadow is called "Two to Glow". I LOVE this shadow duo! So far that is. I am due back for another duo I wanted to get anyway, lol. Lemme show you a pic.

Niiiiice ain't it? I know! Tomorrow, I might pick up another shadow or 2 from this collection and a Lip glass, it's still undecided but most likely I'll pass on it. In 1 weekend, I think I spent almost $100 at 1 m.a.c. counter, lol. I also posted a video of the slidehow I put together for my youtube channel, so if you have time check that out too.
